Among the world's finest exponents of the ukulele and banjo-uke, Andy has played a major part in the instruments' recent popularity boom.
He made history at Oxford University by giving the first ever uke recital for a music degree, and since getting his showbiz break with Ken Dodd, he has played over 2000 shows in theatre, cabaret and festivals worldwide.
His bright, breezy multi-instrumental act combines dazzling musicianship with personality and humour, bringing the spirit of vaudeville entertainment to the 21st century.
Expect a memorable evening of live music and song. With David Carter at the piano.
"From classical to country, singalongs to rock & roll - Andy Eastwood is the King of Strings!"
"Lifted my spirits and set me smiling" - The Guardian
"A born entertainer" - The Stage
**Prices include a 50p per seat 'refurbishment' levy.
Blackfriars Theatre is run predominately by volunteers, we don't charge an admin fee and don't intend to. The full levy plus gift aid, if applicable, will create a special fund to help maintain and refurbish the towns precious traditional little Theatre. This fund will also allow us to seek 'match funding' opportunities to enhance your theatre experience.
