Cinderella raises thousands for Children's Ward for the 4th year running.

Thursday 4th January

This years pantomime Cinderella has again raised over Two Thousand pounds for the Children's Ward at Pilgrim Hospital.

Another successful panto season comes to an end and we are proud to announce that the cast of Cinderella's efforts were worth it as they managed to raise £2784.00 for the Children's Ward at Pilgrim Hospital by shaking their buckets in the foyer after each performance.

The figure was announced at the end of the final show on the 2nd January when David Grant welcomed Emma Boole the ward sister onto the stage.  This is the 4th year running that the Tony Peers Production company and cast have supported the Childrens Ward with the collection and also visiting the Children in hospital for an afternoon during December.

Our thanks go out to all of the families that came along to the Pantomime this year and gave so generously. The show received overwhelming support and rave reviews.

We look forward to welcoming the Tony Peers Production company back to Blackfriars Theatre in December 2018 for their next Pantomime - details of which show they will bring will be announced soon.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
