Welcome to The Acoustic Itch! 

The retirement of John Blanks from Between the Lines left the remaining members having to decide the future of the band. After trying several options, it became clear that the band would never be the same without John's fine voice and instrumentation, and it was decided to call it a day under the BTL name.

However, Phil, Dave and Mark, still playing in the electric country/Americana/rock band Crossing the Tracks, had an “acoustic itch” that needed to be scratched...as did Phil's wife Kim, accordionist with CTT.

And so “The Acoustic Itch” came into being...a line up born out of Crossing the Tracks (who are still busily gigging, including here at Blackfriars!) but with a separate repertoire of songs, tunes, and Phil & Mark's award winning original compositions, some written in collaboration with John.
