Andy has directed his own workshops and Masterclasses throughout the UK for many years, but it was his involvement as director with The Creative Masterclass ‘Les Miserables’ at Pineapple Studios in London where Andy’s teaching and motivational skills were displayed to a wider audience. As a Resident Director for Les Miserables, Andy’s knowledge and insight into the production gives valuable tuition to anyone wishing to explore below the surface of this classic musical. He delivers an enthralling three day course which places professional demands on those in attendance.

The classes give an insight into the preparation required to maintain performance level during an 8 show a week run. The chosen material is looked at in great depth, which allows the actors to explore their own techniques, and how to enhance that technique. The Masterclass is a very enjoyable, positive and rewarding experience. There are many people working in the ‘amateur’ world who are more than capable of sustaining a career in theatre, but for one reason or another they choose not to. A weekend Masterclass allows everyone to taste the intensity of working towards a polished professional product over the space of a few days.
