It is Comedy Hotspot's first show at Blackfriars, and Blackfriars' last of 2019, and what a line up we have in store to see out the year. We have 4 of the UK's very best comics, on the one bill.

Cerys Nelmes

Cery Nelmes is our host, and one of the finest MC's in the business. Cerys has done more TV than I can list here, but you may recognise her as a regular on Casualty as a paramedic. Her comedy has taken her all over the world, and she is a regular at the UK's biggest comedy clubs.

Garrett Millerick

Opening our show is the brilliant Garrett Millerick. Garret's 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Show 'Sunflower' was one of the best reviewed and most talked about shows at the 2018 festival, which later played to sell out audiences at London's Soho Theatre. Garrett is one of the best of a new generation of comedians.

John Mann

The middle of the show is taken up by John Mann. John is one of the most talented people in the industry, writing for comedians such as Jasper Carrott, Paul O'Grady, Harry Enfield and has done tour support for Lenny Henry and Phil Jupitus. John's observational style will have you in stitches.

Troy Hawke

Closing the show is a comedia of exceptional talent. One of the UK's finest character comics, Milo McCabe brings his brilliant character Troy Hawke to Boston. Multiple award winner, Troy Hawke will have you in hysterics. His 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Show was a complete sell out, and his TV credits include Benidorm and BBC3'a Live at The Electric.

Bar opens 7pm, Laughter starts 8pm!

Blackfriars Theatre is run predominately by volunteers. If you would be interested in helping out please speak to our Box Office.

Thank you for your support and understanding. We hope you enjoy the show and encourage others to help Keep Theatre Live in Boston.

Blackfriars undoubtedly plays a very important role as Boston's centre for entertainment and the arts. It is home to two very successful local amateur dramatic and operatic groups, as well as hosting a varied program of professional stage productions.
