A friendship and anti-bullying play

Mark and the Marked uses vibrant physical and visual performance techniques to draw the audience into the heart of a typical bullying scenario. The play is without words and looks at how bullying can happen in the midst of the school community, often without people even realising it. By witnessing and getting involved in a story of how destructive bullying and hate can be, children are invited to be at the forefront of the resolution process and in the advocacy of positive friendship over conflict.

“It showed very clearly how friendships develop and how bullying may arise. It was a fun, non threatening but very powerful look at the issues.”

“This was one of the most powerful drama pieces I have ever seen with excellent music. It was very visual but also stirred feelings inside which can now be discussed with the children.”

“Excellent live music. Very talented actors with real emotion. The children really understood the themes and this play will empower them to handle these situations in real life.”
