Inspired by more than 24 hours of interviews with the people who attend and organise these community spaces across the country, the show combines real-life interviews with compelling movement to celebrate these unique spaces where men (and women) can create, connect and thrive.

Unique, touching and intimately staged in the round, SHED STORIES is full of human, humorous and heart warming tales of making sawdust, friends, and cups of tea!

SHED STORIES is commissioned by Lincoln Arts Centre & Applause Rural Touring, supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, with additional support from: UK Men’s Sheds Association, Metal Southend, Peterborough Presents, Metal Peterborough, The Key Theatre, Made With Many, Harrogate Theatre, Rural Arts, Old Diorama Arts Centre, Sadler’s Wells, Theatreship and Transported.
